Going on vacation with the kids? It's a cliché, but absolutely true: if they have fun, you'll have fun. And that's guaranteed at Boscamping Zwanemeer! They quickly make friends and head to the playground. Performing flips on the air trampoline. Building huts and frolicking in the woods for entire afternoons. Getting ice cream at restaurant Brasserie 't Boshuys. Swimming diploma? Hop over to the nearby outdoor swimming pool. Roasting marshmallows by the campfire in the evening. Bet they'll sleep wonderfully here...
Woodland explorers
Discover the power of the forest and nature. At the Woodlanders club, children learn all about nature and we call them 'woodland explorers'. For children, nature is one big, rugged playground. They can climb and clamber here, go on adventures with the forest ranger or the shepherd, and sleep in a real treehouse. Tip: don't bring their finest clothes because getting dirty is allowed!
Little adventurers
Bringing along little ones? You never have to walk far because there's a small playground on every camping field. And there's plenty to see, do, and experience on the campsite, even for the little campers. Play on the play equipment, bounce on the air trampoline, or climb and clamber through the woods. In the high season, the animation team from the Woodlander club organizes all kinds of adventurous activities.
Outdoor swimming pool
Thinking of a vacation, you think of swimming! Are your children also crazy about water? Good news because our campsite is right next to the (heated) outdoor swimming pool Zwanemeer. If you stay at our campsite, you can swim there for free. In addition to a competition pool, a medium-deep recreation pool, and a toddler pool, there's a playground, soccer field, and beach volleyball court. Enjoy the summer!
A day out
How great is it to go out with your kids and also learn something? There are outings that are also (or especially) great for children. For example, visit the sheep herd on Balloërveld, the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, the Hunebed Centre in Borger, or walk among the treetops at Buitencentrum Boomkroonpad. The possibilities are endless. Take your kids to discover the history, nature, culture, and stories of Drenthe.
Adventure
In the mood for adventure? Try canoeing on the Hunze, right from the campsite. But you can also fish at a lake called Klein Zwanemeer in the nearby forest. Or explore the surroundings with an adventurous hiking, cycling, or geocaching tour. Geocaching is a fun activity for the whole family where you search for different 'caches' with a GPS device. Wander along quiet forest paths, walk along winding rivers, and discover the hidden spots of Drenthe.
